All about eyes..
I'm all about eyes at the moment, it must of been at least a year or so since I've used any pencil liners, I always go straight for liquid and lashings of mascara.. but recently I wanted to up the ante so I wanted to share some little tricks I do to improve my eye make-up.
First up is eyelash curlers.. I've used these so much recently (I really should invest in a new pair!) But they're just fab to give your eye a bit more oomph when wearing mascara, or get your lashes tinted invest in some good curlers and hey presto, who needs mascara? (No one really needs it but we all want it don't we!?)
Anyway... before I use my eyelash curlers I always give them about a 10/15 second blast with a warm hair dryer, this will act as a mini curling iron leaving your lashes curled for longer! This paired with either of my new favourite mascaras is perfect. In First place has to be Rimmel Scandaleyes flex (green tube) it has a nice firm brush, coats your lashes to the blackest of black and make them look so full, I'm in love with this combo!
In a close second is my Maybelline Falsies mascara. This is second for one reason only... the wobbly flex brush really annoys me! I think its so hard to evenly coat your lashes when this wiggles all around, but when you get the hang of it you do really get a great false lash effect!
These both come in around the £6 mark so they are brilliant buys too.

Onto eye liners.. black liner is a must! I have always been the person thinking if it's priced higher it must be better.. wrong! In this case, this is the best I've used in a long time. I tend to use mine under my top lashes, this makes my lash line look so much fuller and i don't have long or thick ones really so this works a treat.

Nude eye liner has multiple uses.. firstly on the lower lash line, if you have a smaller eye this will widen it.
Secondly.. it can be used to tidy around your brows.. if its been a few weeks since you've had them done, running this right underneath your brows just defines them that tiny bit more!
Thirdly.. yes there's another way to use this.. if you, like me use liquid liner but still aren't a pro at it.. this will just tidy up the edges, this and any angled brush with a tiny bit of concealer on will just smarten this up (you can use this same method to crisp up lipsticks too!)

And last but not least, white liner. I've read a few blogs recently who rave about this.. and I've got to agree, its fab! You can use this in so many ways like the nude.
I tend to use it on morning's when I'm looking a little tired, i don't have the largest of eyes so this just really helps to widen them up and look more awake (when all i want to do is go back to bed!!)
Also you can use white liners as highlighters. Just put a little at the inner corners of your eyes. The brightness reflects automatically making you look more bright eyed and bushy tailed! I sometimes use this under my brows too, if I have more of a dramatic eye make-up this highlighted brow bone really compliments it.
