Nars sheer glow had quickly become a favourite foundation of mine. Feeling silky smooth on your skin, looks radiant and gives me a nice dewy glow (I strive for this as my skin always feels so lack luster and dehydrated in these winter months!) The only problem is it comes with a hefty price tag.. £30.50.. great if it lasts you a while or its your go to going out foundation but to use everyday, it goes down so quickly.
So on one of my weekly, ok daily, visits on Boots I was glancing over the foundations and spotted this one. Enter L'Oréal lumi magique. This one is a third of the price at £10.99, and it was one of those moments where it sounds like it would be the same, but will it actually. Can anything compare to my 2013 favourite??
So I decided to wear it for a couple of weeks to see what I thought and im actually starting to prefer it. Don't get me wrong the sheer glow is pretty epic, stays put for most the day, makes your skin look flawless but my only issue is it tends to go a little matte looking on me after a while, even with a good moisturiser and primer..whereas the lumi magique keeps you looking fresh and glowing all day but keeping matte in the areas you want, the T zone!.. I've even put it through the ultimate test today as ive been to the hairdresser's and ususlly when I leave I'm looking as if ive been dunked in the pool but today my makeup was still amazing when I left.
I've been so happy with this product, so.. sorry Nars you shall be taking a back seat for a while.
