Brows, Brows & more Brows..

I believe someone's eyebrows completely frames their face, so you always need to be sure on how to archive the perfect shape for you & not just follow the trends or what your favourite celeb has.
So the three most common methods are plucking, waxing & threading, for me threading is the most painful (but I am a baby!) so I always opt to wax my brows as plucking tends to get tedious.. But choosing the right method for you can be difficult if your just starting out on your brow adventure.. So here's a few tips.

Plucking!
Always make sure you have a good pair of tweezers.. Something to invest in as the will last you years! I always go for Tweezerman, they come in around £20 in most drugstores.
Always tweeze after you shower, this opens up your follicles making them slide out easier which = less pain & happy me! If you are quite sensitive you can always apply a little baby teething gel, this helps a lot if your maintaining is quite extensive.
I also never use a magnifying mirror as it makes your brows look so much worse than they are, which leads to over plucking! But this method you have the most control over what your removing, and you don't break the bank!

Waxing!
Waxing for me is by far the best.. It takes seconds to do and what you would spend time wise and pain on plucking you can now spend admiring that beautiful shape you've created and leaves skin feeling silky smooth.
If you have thicker hair, this is definitely the way for you. It helps the hairs to return thinner and softer, but can be expensive so always make sure you go to someone you trust. Or if your doing it at home, always take less off at first then the more you do it the more confident you will become. This is great for combining with tweezing if your a little nervous at first.

Threading!
Threading uses cotton to remove the hair, this to some people...me... is the most painful method. But is a great option if you have delicate skin.
There's minimal irritation on the skin with this method and it doesn't take a top layer of skin like waxing will. It's the way forward if you are using any skin ointments or have really sensitive skin, there is always a little redness as you will get with any method of hair removal but this goes away within an hour or two, and in the right places this isn't as costly as waxing.

Now you've chosen your method, choose your shape. Firstly recognise what face shape you have.. Then the rest is easy...
