Whenever I head into Lush Birmingham I always pick up a fresh mask, usually the Cosmetic Warrior or Love Lettuce but I fancied a change, plus my skin was having a crazy breakout at the time so I thought I'd give cupcake a go.
Cupcake is catered more for oily and teenage skin, what could be more teenage than a breakout though? But it aims to clarify and cleanse the skin which is exactly what I need when I'm constantly trying out new skincare and make up.
Made with Rhassoul mud, cocoa butter/ powder and linseed these all help to soften out the skin whilst peppermint and sandalwood and a few other oils help to re- balance, stimulate and tone the skin. Lush do have a full list of ingredients on there website which is fantastic for you to be able to see exactly what's in your skincare!
The smell is Mmmmm .. yummy shall we say! Chocolate lovers heaven, don't get too carried away and eat it though.
These are great to keep in in the summer too, you should keep them in the fridge so they have a really refreshing, cooling effect on the skin. Leave it on for around 10 minutes and wash off with warm water to see the beautiful skin your left with. I tend to get around 6 applications from a tub so at £6.75 for a 75g tub that's only £1.12 per application.
If you've never tried a fresh mask before now.. Hurry hurry hurry! They are amazing.
