Real Techniques sponge

I'm one for a quick and easy make-up application, either with my fingertips or a foundation brush, but when I spotted this quite some time back in Boots I wanted to give it a go, must be the beaut lender hype finally getting to me!

I already own so many Real Techniques brushes and love the quality and they're such a good price in comparison to so many others. 

It totally takes me back to being 14 and using making sponges to cake on my foundation, I used to think the secret to flawless skin was putting on as much make up as possible to cover any problems, how wrong was I!? 

The Miracle sponge has multiple abilities, the large smooth area is for flatter, larger parts of the face I.e. Forehead, cheeks, chin and neck, where as the tip is designed to cover up any pesky imperfections. The bit that looks like someone's taker a slice off is for the smaller areas being the nose, eyes and upper lip. 

I was certainly surprised how flawless my make-up looks after applying it with this and on the flip side it's so much easier to clean. Will it replace any of my brushes? Maybe not, but it's definitely earning its place amount them. Especially at a fiver!.
