I haven't used Dermalogica in quite some time, probably 6 years? So it was a lovely surprise to get this in our goodie bags. I was so excited to get using this, especially as it's not your 'typical' exfoliator.
This gentle rice based exfoliator is only activated when you apply water to the fine powder which is perfect because you can control how gritty you would like this to be.
It's my first time using a Dermalogica exfoliator and a powder based exfoliator. At the start it was a complete trial and error on which consistency suited my skin best. I do tend to prefer something a little rougher on the skin, it just makes me skin feel totally clean. Once you've put around half a teaspoon of powder in your hand slowly add drops of water to make a nice paste, once it's all mixed up then rub in circular motions on your face. I always start on my chin and work my way up. I only do this as it was how I was trained back in my Spa Therapist days. Then rinse off with luke warm water and a flannel to reveal silky smooth skin.
I have been really happy with the results of this, I have had so many compliments about how lovely my skin has been looking, I have had a total change in lots of products and I do believe this gives your skin a much needed kick up the bum if your sometimes stuck in a product rut! I have been using it around 3/4 times a week and I haven't got any complaints.
This is a little pricey, but I didn't expect anything less from this skin saving company. It's £37.17 for a 75g tub on feelunique at the moment, I have only been using it a couple of weeks and I still have plenty left so many think of it as more of an investment skincare piece?!
