I was lucky enough to go to an event called Fabb Events Birmingham recently with my friend Amy, if you've not heard of Fabb here is the link I'd definitely check it out if like me and you have not long started a beauty or fashion blog it's great socialising with other bloggers who are in the area and networking with brands too.
Leave your links in my comments box so I can check out your blog too!
As we got there the place already seemed pretty full so we headed up a milled around for a while seeing if there was anything that immediately caught our eye. We decided to work our way from upstairs back down and one of the last stalls we went too was MeMeMe Cosmetics, which seemed to be one of the busiest still.
We were greeted by Tia who was so lovely and happy to chat and tell us all about the products they were giving out for us to try out even though she was run off her feet with people queuing around her table wanting to know about the brand (& as my friend spotted, in the most beautiful but very high heels!!)
We were given a huge goodie bag with 7 products in. How generous!! Thanks guys. And as this was a brand I wasn't familiar with all the better as there are so many different things to try.
So kicking off my MeMeMe product reviews is Seventh Heaven Enriched Moisturising facebase.
I started using this a few days after the event, I just wanted to get my mitts on everything that I had been given. Greedy!! But I have very unpredictable skin, a dehydrated combination skin and I tend to stick to the same products that I have for years, but sometimes we just need a change. A great one at that. Especially at this time of year when my skin is a lot dryer and dehydrated this product just seemed perfect to try. Within days my skin actually looked a lot brighter and no more flaky bits on my chin and forehead. Bonus! Plus this is a double butt kicking as it works as a primer too.
The reason for this is Seventh Heaven contains Shea butter - which is great for blemishes, wrinkles, eczema, dry skin and dermatitis, don't be fooled into thinking richer moisturisers aren't good for a combination or acne prone skin.
It also contains Beta-Carotene which helps protect our skin from sun damage and pollution, so this is a must in any daily moisturiser!!!
So far this has a massive thumbs up from me.
The smell is incredible, so fruity and spa like. Containing lemon, orange, lime & mandarin zest's no wonder I wanted to munch this all up.
The packaging is so beautiful on this product too. It comes in a little box with all the ingredients and instructions on. The frosted jar and matte black lid are beautiful, completely sold me from first glance. It looks so luxurious and expensive yet is actually really great value. At the moment this is retailing for only £10 for an 30ml pot.
You'd be crazy not to try it, plus for the whole of November MeMeMe Cosmetics have kindly sent me a code for all of my readers to use where you will receive 25% off your total spend on www.mememecosmetics.com. Just put the code mememe25 when you've finished your shop and it will automatically reduced.
Double thumbs up!
I'll be showing you all the other products I have from MeMeMe in the upcoming weeks so keep your eyes peeled for these.
