Disneyland Paris for the day

Bright eyed and bushy tailed we jumped out of bed and rushed to get ready. Why you ask? Oh, we're off to Disneyland for the day.
We walked to the nearest station and decided to grab a pan au chocolate for the journey. We went to PAUL. A well renowned Parisian bakery/ macaroon specialist and were greeted with miserable faces.
Nothing was ruining my day though, I was so excited to see the huge pink and blue castle. Although the train journey came close. Lets just say it was an experience in itself. Ever been on the tubes in London? OK, so add an upstairs and a downstairs too that, then imagine trying to get on one of Paris busiest lines at 9am... yeah so we didn't think that trough really did we!
10am we arrived. Thankfully the train/tube had eased off most the passengers and we headed for the gates.. Hello Disney!!

We gravitated toward the castle, I mean look how much excitement is on that face.. yes and I am 28!

There were pumpkins, ghosts, ghouls and goblins everywhere. Disney really do go all out at Halloween.
Along with a few hundred minnie and micky balloons. I really wanted one to bring back, but I reckon one of us would of popped with excitement on the plane home.
I never realised you can go into the castle, I mean it has been 22 years since I have been to Disney Paris. I was so excited to enter Maleficent's lair.
Where she was quietly snoozing..

Not for long though, so we didn't hang around...

The inside is so beautiful, more so than the exterior. Stained glass and gems everywhere.
After doing the 'princess stuff' for a while we had to find some boys toys... A huge pirate ship will do.

And how lovely to bump into King Louie. This guy does not monkey around! He went straight in for the hug...

and we then took the same photo I did when I was 6 years old... For some reason I think they have made the chair smaller as I don't remember it being that tight on the tush....

We lost ourselves in the Labyrinth for at least ten mintues, it's no fun when the hubby's tall enough to look straight over the maze.

And then finished off with a stroll to the Haunted mansion. I think in the dream home search the castle would win for me.. This one's a little old fashioned and the décor is pretty ghastly.. get it.. ahhh haha!

I'm so sad that this is my last but one Paris post but I have some exciting one's ahead.
