Loving Liners

I used to be a huge liquid liner fan when I was younger. . That big a fan I actually never went anywhere without it on!! In more recent years ive just been rocking the mascara but the middle of 2013 I started wearing it again. I straight away repurchased the trusty MAC liquid liner, its never let me down, easy to apply, stays put.. ticks every box.. but getting to Birmingham to repurchase was always a bit of a pain, massive queues at the counter & buying offline just one item I felt was a waste, so I toddled off to my local Boots & decided to start trying out others. 
As I find lots of great buys in the Rimmel section I thought I would try there. I bought the rimmel exaggerate black liner.. it looks the exact same as the MAC one, same shaped bottle & application nib and actually applied pretty similar.. only trouble I had with this is it dried up pretty quick.. the same as the MAC one.
So as I watched a million (this may not be an exaggeration!!) makeup tutorials I kept hearing bloggers rave about cremé gel liners.. how can so many people love this product & for me it was a huge dissapointment. I bought the Revlon one for £8.99... big waste! Or i'm using it wrongly so if anyones got any tips on this.. I need them!!
After this little disaster I went back to the trustly liquid.. I bought the L'Oréal Super Liner in black lacquer. Now this is something I've become very fond of for my day to day use. It comes in at a very cost effective £6.49 and has such good staying power! Glides on easily (as we all know liquid liner is hard to master) but if you make a mistake it wipes off well. I do well and truly love this at the moment.. but.. I wanted something a little more special for an evening wear of this.
After watching another Tanya Burr tutorial with this particular product in.. it was time to jump on the wagon! I bought the Lancôme Art liner.  This is a little pricier at £20 but I love it.. This has got to be the best liquid liner I've used in a while. I do only tend to use this of an evening with having a hefty price tag.. but im equally as happy with my super liner for every day!.
