So many bloggers rave about Jo Malone candles and perfume its always been on my 'to buy' list but somehow I just never got round to it. But as Christmas was looming I started to really want one.. but being super busy I never seemed to go and buy one. Lucky for me one of my friends did. I was soooo happy when I unwrapped this. So my first ever one has been Pomegranate Noir probably one of the most talked about smells in the collection.
The scent is Ruby rich juices of pomegranate, raspberry, plum, pink pepper, casablanca lily & spicy woods.. now I can definitely smell the pomegranate & spicy woods but for anything else.. well my nose is not up to that of a sniffer dogs!! But it is beautiful.
Recently I bought the Peony & Blush suede fragrance & body lotion for our upcoming nuptials in may.. its the perfect spring fragrance, plus I have peony in my bouquet so I thought it would compliment it greatly.
Back to the candle.. the price is a little steep for a candle.. coming in at £39.00 for 200g but they do last 45 hours.. which in candle time is a long time!! I think everyone needs just one of these candles in their home not only do they smell great but they look great too, plus they have the added use once your finishes with it to use them as storage jars.. I did this with a kringle candle I had a while back. I filled the candle up with hot water (once I had used it all of course) I then left it over night so the next morning it was floating in the jar, I cleanes it all up & use it to keep my brushes in! I have a slightly smaller one with a lid I keep my bobbles in and I jazzed that up with a ribbon to make it a little less boring!
Have you got any other ideas for storing beauty bits?
