As I've given up chocolate again for lent this year, I wanted to give Easter gifts that were a little different than buying chocolate eggs, now don't get me wrong, I love chocolate but on occasion I'm up for something with a difference, something my friends and family wouldn't think they'd get (unless they're reading my post.. then the jig is up!!) so I headed down to my favourite shop for some inspiration.
Lush have had such a great Easter range in this year it was difficult to choose from. You have big eggs, little eggs, flowers, butterflies, bunnies and carrots (for the bunnies of course!). So after much deliberation and lots of smelling I've gone for the fluffy eggs. These are bath bombs so they fizz all around your bath leaving your bathroom smelling like your at a fun fair. The smell is so similar to the snow fairy bath and shower gel so it's yummy, like your eating candyfloss & hopefully will curb those chocolate cravings.
Then I just headed to Hobbycraft and bought some plain white boxes, they were 20 for £5.00 & a few meters of ribbon which is pretty cheap too. Overall they cost around £3.20 per one boxed and ribboned so its no more expensive than an Easter egg, and they look a whole lot nicer!.
Are you hoping for chocolate or fluffy eggs this year?
