Jo Malone // Peony & Blush suede

I know I'm super late in jumping on the Jo Malone perfume wagon, but honestly I love so many different perfumes I really didn't see the need, until now.
As I seem to mention in EVERY post, I'm getting married soon (2 1/2 weeks to be exact) & I wanted to try a completely new fragrance. Every married person I've spoken to advised this as it will be something in years to come where a certain smell would flood back memories of our special day. So when I was browsing the Jo Malone counter a couple of months back now, I came across this particular scent. It was an instant I need this now moment before I'd even smelt it, purely to the fact that in my bouquet are peonies. They are the most beautiful flower but not very long lasting (insert sad face here).
The scent is from the floral section, I'm a huge fan of a sweet or floral scent in the day, my current two daytimes consist of CHLOÈ & CHLOÈ Roses, these are perfect for daytimes. Really light but every now & then you catch a whiff.. Aahhhhh. Evenings I do like something heavier, an all time favourite that I've had since I was about 15 is CHANEL Coco mademoiselle & Tom Ford Jasmine Rouge is a more recent one. (As I'm writing this I'm starting to realise I have expensive taste in perfume, gone are the days of loving my £15 bottle of Jlo & Britney!) but for the wedding I wanted a mix of the two, not to light but not too heavy either.
So that's when I purchased this baby, it's really well balanced with top notes of red apple, heart of peony & base notes of suede. I had to have a try again when i got it home, but as i sniffed my wrist it was still smelling prominent from 4 hours before. The staff in Jo Malone Selfridges were super helpful, giving me samples of the body lotion to try & telling me to go off for an hour or so two too see if the scent settled well on my skin.
They also do this in a body lotion, candle, body & hand wash, plus the perfume comes in two sizes. A 30ml for £39.00 and a 100ml is £78.00 it's easy enough to see the larger bottle is much better value but be sure you love it first.
I've not worn this since, just sniffed the bottle a few hundred times, but I want it to be special on our big day, not like my every day scents. Now there's just the matter of me loving so many other Jo Malone perfumes, whats a girl to do? Other than buy more! Next I'd like the Red Roses, another flower favourite & White Jasmine & Mint. I went straight to the Blue Agava & Cacao as I love chocolate, but this was a huge no no.
