Not looking after your skin is the ultimate sin!!!
Being a beauty therapist I have always had a pretty good skincare routine, but there are tons of other things that can cause ageing of the skin. So what can we do to prevent? Honestly I don't believe we can turn back the clock with lotions and potions but it's a step in the right direction.
First things first... Sunscreen!!! Why?.. Why not? .. prevention of sun damaged skin, sun spots wrinkles and much much more.
Sleeping beauty isn't just a fairytale after all.
Extra hours of shut eye could be one of the secrets to having a beautiful complexion.
Many of us don't get enough sleep and on average we need 7-8 hours a night.
Night time helps your skin replenish from day to day sunlight, pollution, make up, the weather... especially the crazy heat were experiencing at the moment.. and reap the benefits of a good anti ageing moisturiser.

Drinking plenty of water!!!
Honestly I'm a bit of a fish... still wishing I was the mermaid kind but sadly no.
I do drink so much water and so should you. Water helps to keep your skin hydrated which maintain healthy skin functions like cell regeneration and an improvement on your circulation = a more radiant 'healthy' looking complexion.

Food for thought? Food for the skin is more like it.. These all contain antioxidants, vitamin C, fatty acids and minerals that help your skin stay supple, moisturised, wrinkle free and protects from sun damage.
Wild Salmon, Tomatoes, Kiwi & Dark Chocolate.
Oh boy.. was I happy when I found out the last one!
& last but very not least, a great moisturiser. This is one thing I won't cut back the cash on. I have used Elemis for around 10 years since I was first trained. I started with there normal day/night creams and progressed to there Pro-Collagen anti-ageing range and I haven't ever been disappointed.
There's no better time than the present to start prevention of ageing skin.
