On Black friday me and my blogger bud Amy headed out to Birmingham for a Christmas event with The Body Shop which was set up by a lovely lady and fellow blogger Abbi. 

It was a chance for us to meet like minded gals, try out the new products, learn a little more about The Body shop, eat, drink and be merry.. why the heck would you not jump at the chance!! It started at at 7.30pm and ended at 10pm, the time flew by whilst we mingled and chatted about our blogs, where we were from and what we do on a day to day basis.

 So here are a few piccies from the event  I thought I'd share and if you haven't yet tried the new ranges yet, head down to The Body shop and get your paws on all the Christmas goodies they have to offer. 

Above is the Glazed Apple range. There are 13 products in total ranging from body butter, body polishes to hair and body sparkles and gift sets. The scent is super yummy, like fresh apples believe it or not ;)

My fave was the sickly sweet Vanilla brulee. The smell was quite intense in the pots but don't be put off as when it's on it's really nice and mellow. Reminds me a little of milky bars. There are only 11 products in the range, they don't have the fragrance oil or the room spray in the collection. 

Then a Christmas classic, Frosted Cranberry. A true Christmas smell. This was very beautiful smell, not too heavy and really fruity. This has 12 products in the range I think the room spray is missing from the collection but it does have the eau de toilette unlike the Vanilla. 

They have the best stocking fillers, if you haven't decided on anything yet these polar bear duos are a great choice for all ages! They are £7 but Body shop have some amazing deals on at the moment. 

I couldn't resist these little guys below.. 

The Polar bear was my favourite, Do you know the difference between a polar bear and a postbox? 

You don't?! I'm not asking you to post my letters then ... 

Aww and the penguins.. Do you know what fish Penguins catch at night? .. Starfish! 

Ok, Ok.. I'm done with the bad jokes! 

So one of the stands was to try out all the products on our skin, we had our hands washed with the shower gel, exfoliated with the body polish and hydrated and massaged with the body butters.

Deep in conversation of course! 

The others were skincare, make up, hand creams and looking after your hands. I have learned so much  from going here, and all the staff were brilliant in the body shop, so informative. We also had games and prizes too which made the night more interactive. 

This was a brilliant event and I'd like to say a huge thank you to Abbi for hosting and giving us goodybags and The Body shop for hosting the event. 

I cannot wait for the next.
