I was lucky enough to attend Urban Decay's latest event at Selfridge's in Birmingham last week. It was hosted by the lovely Kirsty Lo who is a make up specialist here at the counter.
This event was to view the summer range, bold bright and beautiful.. and you can have a sneaky look at the latest vault launch too..
First up we'll just take a peek at what graces the stands here at UD.
The packaging is beautiful and practical. Great for taking away as they're light and compact but have a shiny mirror lid which I suppose could double as a bit of a mirror if your out without one?!...
High gloss, long lasting lips and bombastic blushers.. you want to make a statement this summer head here. The new lip gloss is really pigmented so it packs a real punch of colour and doesn't feel sticky either.
I had some of the Naked skin and have been using it every day, it gives a lovely airbrushed look without looking cakey and feels as if you have bare skin. I think this will definitely be a summer staple. I always like a more natural look in the summer, especially when I am able to get a bit of a tan.

Now this may not look like much from the outside, but inside we have over £300 worth of UD products.. lipsticks and liners to be exact. All for only £180....
If your wanting one of these you've got to move quickly. They only stock around 10 in store and are never sure if any more will come in. This is every Urban Decay lipstick and liner here, a lipstick junkies dream I'm guessing.. for me I am more of a gloss girl but it was beautiful.
I had such a great time at this event, it's always nice to go to a beauty event when I have been travel/lifestyle blogging for a little while now. It's good to mix it up..
